A Multifaceted Career 

Filippos’ journey to becoming Co-founder and Director of Operations and Quality Assurance at Vimachem Industrial Solutions began with his family’s business, where he and his brother, Alex Vidras, recognized the potential for innovation. When they joined the company in 2010, they elevated its operations by introducing the Vimachem AI Pharma 4.0 Platform, significantly enhancing site-level optimization and traceability in the pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device sectors. Vimachem, a Scale Up Cohort 3 member, is used daily by leaders in the industry to improve pharmaceutical manufacturing and product quality.  

Filippos’ path to Vimachem was anything but conventional. Before joining the family business, he gained experience across a variety of sectors, including film production, business intelligence, and the arts. He served as an executive producer for the film Reconciliation and worked in roles such as Business Intelligence Associate at Christie’s and Gallery Management Associate at Lunch Tham. His work as an Art Director at Art Watch Gallery further fueled his creative and strategic thinking.

Filippos’ academic background also played an important role in shaping his career. He earned a Master of Arts in Visual Arts Administration from New York University and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Athens University of Economics and Business, giving him a unique blend of artistic insight and analytical skills that he applies to his work at Vimachem.
