Petros Sagkos is the Co-founder and Chief Operating and Content Officer at Wikifarmer, a member of the Scale Up 5th Batch. Wikifarmer is a global initiative dedicated to empowering and educating farmers worldwide and has quickly become a benchmark in the agricultural industry. The company promotes innovative practices that help farmers modernize their techniques and increase their earnings. Through Wikifarmer, Petros and his Co-founder Illias Sousis aim to democratize agriculture and ensure that farmers receive the value they deserve.
Before founding Wikifarmer, Petros gained valuable experience in both business strategy and operations. As a Business Analyst at LEO Pharma, he contributed to market insights and strategic planning, and as Deputy General Manager at Agrogen SA, he played a key role in overseeing the production of high-quality vegetables, herbs, and cereal seeds. His academic background further strengthens his expertise, with a Master’s in Agricultural Science from the Agricultural University of Athens and an International MBA in Accounting and Finance from Athens University of Economics and Business.
