Alex Vidras has been passionate about technology from the early days of his academic and professional career. Alex graduated from the Athens University of Economics and Business with a Bachelor’s degree on Management Science and Technology. Subsequently he received his Master’s on Operational Research and Statistics from Bentley University, having received a notable scholarship. Alex then spent over 7 years in Boston, Washington and New York combining his passion for data through a career in consulting, ultimately holding management positions at Accenture in New York for 2 years. In 2019, Alex turned to the pharma space spending nearly 4 years in ISPE’s Pharma 4.0 Special Interest Group. Finally, in 2015 Alex returned to his family business Vimachem, where he and his brother took the business to the next level through the innovative Vimachem AI Pharma 4.0 Platform for Site Level Optimization & Traceability for the Pharma, Biotech and Medical Devices industries. To date, Alex holds the position of Executive Director, growing the business on a global scale.

Vimachem has developed a platform that enables pharmaceutical and biotech companies to enhance their scalability and flexibility while meeting regulatory compliance requirements in manufacturing. Optimz Pharma 4.0 is specifically designed for the life sciences and pharmaceutical industries, empowering operators with a solution to streamline operations, ensuring that critical drugs can be brought to market faster and safer.
