Building the Factory of the Future

Daghan Cam is the Co-Founder and CEO of Ai Build, the Scale Up Cohort 6 London-based company advancing automation in additive manufacturing for industries like aerospace and automotive. Ai Build makes it easier, faster, and more reliable for companies to produce complex parts at a lower cost and with less waste. 

Prior to Ai Build, Daghan worked as an architect at Zaha Hadid Architects, which is where he met his co-founder, Michail Desyllas. Daghan and Michail's experience at Zaha Hadid working on geometrically complex architectural designs, sparked their interest in using AI-driven automation to enhance manufacturing processes and ultimately led to them founding Ai Build. He also worked as a Teaching Fellow at the Bartlett School of Architecture at the University College London, teaching advanced architecture students and focusing on supercomputing technology research. 

Before his career, Daghan earned his Master’s in Architecture from the Architectural Association in London, where he graduated with distinction, and a Bachelor’s from Istanbul Technical University. He also earned his Bachelor in Architecture from Istanbul Technical University.
