George Karagiannis, Co-founder and Chief of AI at Moveo.AI, is a young entrepreneur with an eye on AI’s potential, captivated by technology’s ability to transform industries. This drive led him to co-found Moveo.AI, a member of the Scale Up 7th Cohort, where he leads the development of conversational AI platforms designed specifically for financial institutions. Moveo.AI is redefining customer support through the integration of state-of-the-art AI and live human interaction, helping businesses improve how they communicate with their customers. 

Before Co-founding Moveo.AI, George worked as a Software Engineer at Q&R, where he developed innovative IoT solutions for the retail sector, enhancing customer experience by utilizing real-time data to analyze foot traffic, age, gender, and emotion. Prior to his entrepreneurial career, George studied at UC Santa Cruz and earned a Master’s in Computer Science from Cornell University, specializing in Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning, and Databases, and a Bachelor’s from UC Santa Cruz. While at Cornell, he contributed to multiple top-tier publications and collaborated with leading labs, including Google AI.
