Securing the Prosperity of Seafair

George Rovis is the Co-Founder and CSO of Seafair, a Scale Up Cohort 4 company that is helping shipping companies manage data and recruit seafarers. He brings significant experience to this role, having previously served as a project leader at Boston Consulting Group, where he focused on the maritime industry.

George also worked as a Sales Coordinator and Finance Administrator for Ericsson, covering the regions of Bulgaria, Cyprus, Greece, and Malta. This role involved coordinating sales teams across multiple countries, leading business development meetings, and managing sales forecasts and financial analysis. 

George’s commitment to Seafair’s mission is driven by a respect for seafarers: “It is they who move 90% of global trade, working tirelessly away from their homes and families. We want to help them secure the opportunities they deserve in a simple and fair way,” George explains. 

George also earned a Master of Engineering in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens and an MSc in Applied Economics and Finance from the Athens University of Economics and Business.
