Panos Adamopoulos is the Founder and CEO of Seismos, an Austin, Texas based global leader in AI-powered Acoustic Sensing. By harnessing the power of sound, Seismos provides real-time insights for the Energy and Infrastructure sectors, enabling safer, more efficient, and environmentally responsible operations.

Before founding Seismos, Panos gained extensive experience in Silicon Valley and became a serial entrepreneur. Seismos is his third venture, following the successful growth and acquisition of two international companies in the global procurement space (sold in 2008 and 2011).

Panos combines a strong engineering and business acumen, holding a degree in Chemical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), an MBA from UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business, and a Master’s in Technology Commercialization from UT Austin’s McCombs School of Business.

He shares a passion for innovation, especially university-led, science-based, innovation that can make an impact on society and strives to create frameworks that will improve the technology transfer process from Universities, Research Institutes, and Labs to the marketplace for the benefit of everyone.
