Stijn Goossens, Co-founder and CTO, is pushing the boundaries of computer vision with Qurv’s innovative graphene-enabled imaging sensors. Qurv, a Scale Up Cohort 7 member, aims to transform industries like autonomous vehicles, security, and industrial automation by offering advanced image sensors that detect a broad spectrum of light wavelengths—from ultraviolet to infrared. 

With a MSc in Nanoscience from the University of Groningen in 2008 and a BSc in Applied Physics from the same institution in 2006, Stijn was deeply involved in research at ICFO, where he obtained his PhD, focusing on nanophotonics and optoelectronics. His work with graphene and quantum dots laid the foundation for Qurv's technological advancements. His expertise in merging graphene with traditional CMOS technology has made high-performance imaging sensors more accessible and scalable, enhancing their application in various industries.
