Unlocking the Future of Cognitive Health
Vassiliki Rentoumi is the Founder and CEO of LANGaware, a platform enhancing the early detection of neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer's, as well as cognitive and behavioral health conditions. LANGaware is also a member of the Scale Up 4th Cohort. With over a decade of expertise at the intersection of computational linguistics, natural language processing, and machine learning, Vassiliki has focused her career on transforming how cognitive diseases are diagnosed and monitored.
Before founding LANGaware in 2019, Vassiliki held esteemed research roles at institutions like St. George's University of London and Greece’s National Center for Scientific Research "Demokritos." He has served as a Post Doctoral Research Fellow, Honorary Research Fellow, and Associate REsearcher. Her knowledge led her to develop LANGaware, which detects digital biomarkers in speech, providing a new method to diagnose cognitive decline early. Vassiliki’s work is reshaping the future of cognitive and behavioral health care, giving hope for earlier detection and better outcomes.
