Nikos Varvadoukas is a seasoned C-level executive, Operating Partner, investor, and board member with extensive experience in Growth & Go to Market, Transformation, Marketing, Omnichannel Commerce, Customer Experience, and Supply Chain across leading organizations including Public Group, Germanos, Cosmos Sport, Novibet, APIVITA, DIAGEO, and Philip Morris International.
He currently serves as Operating Partner, Growth & Transformationcin Operandi Partners, working alongside founders, leadership teams, and investors to drive value creation, operational excellence, commercial acceleration, and organizational transformation across growth-stage and turnaround businesses.
Throughout his career, Nikos has held senior leadership positions including Global Chief Marketing Officer at Novibet, VP Brand, Omnichannel & Supply Chain at Public Group, COO at Cosmos Sport, and Commercial Director at APIVITA. He has played a pivotal role in major corporate transactions and transformation projects, including the acquisition of Cosmos Sport by JD Sports, the acquisition of Gatoskilo by Pet City Group, and strategic growth and integration initiatives across omnichannel retail and digital commerce ecosystems.
Nikos has also been actively involved in Public Capital Partners, the Corporate VC arm of Public Group, which has invested in leading scale-ups, services companies, and venture funds including BOX NOW, Sleed, iRepair, Douleutaras, Bookvoice, Klarna, Venture Friends, and Endeavor Catalyst.
As an angel investor, advisor, and non-executive board member, he supports a portfolio of scale-ups and technology-driven businesses across SaaS, AI, eCommerce, logistics, marketplaces, analytics, and education technology. His portfolio and advisory exposure includes Convert Group, Findbar, AfterSalesPro, Douleutaras, eProfessor, Gatoskilo, eCommerce Logistics (acquired by Skroutz), and Pharmacy 295.
As a founding member and long-standing board member of GRECA, Nikos has significantly contributed to the advancement of eCommerce and omnichannel retail in Greece and Cyprus, bridging corporate expertise with entrepreneurial innovation and helping shape the region’s digital commerce ecosystem.
With deep leadership experience across both corporates and scale-ups, he specializes in transformational leadership, value creation, go-to-market strategy, omnichannel growth, customer-centric innovation, operational scaling, and business development. He is passionate about fostering entrepreneurial thinking within organizations and helping businesses scale sustainably in increasingly competitive and technology-driven markets.
Nikos holds a degree in Operational Research and Marketing from Athens University of Economics and Business, an MBA in Finance from University of Piraeus, and an executive certificate in Business Model Innovation from Imperial College London.
