Stratos Molyviatis is the Group Chief Operating Officer at the National Bank of Greece, where helps advance the bank’s digital transformation and operational efficiency. With in-depth experience in core banking, payments, and IT transformation, Stratos has dedicated his career to integrating innovative technologies within the financial sector.

Stratos earned a MSc in Cybernetics from the University of Reading and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. His academic background has been valuable in shaping his career trajectory. He began his professional journey at Andersen Consulting in 1998, focusing on financial services. At Accenture, he advanced to Senior Manager, leading a team of 100 professionals and serving three of Greece’s top five banks in core banking implementations and strategic initiatives. His expertise continued to grow at First Data Corporation, where he became a member of the Board of Directors and served as VP and CIO for Central, Eastern, and South Eastern Europe. Stratos has held executive positions in the technology sector, working in Greece and many countries abroad, with leading companies in technological infrastructure and digital technologies. His contributions to the bank’s digital transformation process have been significant.
