Vassilis Adamidis is a member of the Board of Nestle Hellas S.A. and has over 30 years of experience in leading business, functions and programs. He currently holds the role of Group Head of Human Resources for Nestle Greece, Cyprus & Albania leading the "Workplace of Tomorrow," a strategic 4-pillar transformation aiming to foster an open and inclusive environment, achieving measurable employee and business results. For this achievement, he was awarded the HR Manager of the Year 2022 Award by the relevant organization.
Vassilis’s academic background includes a B.S. in Business Administration from Aristotle’s University of Thessaloniki and an MBA from the University of Bridgeport, Connecticut. Throughout his career, Vassilis held several pivotal roles at country and regional level, including IT & Business Excellence Director as well as Strategic Planning Director for Nestle Southeastern Europe, where he led significant business transformations and strategic alignment across multiple countries. As the Corporate Head of Channel & Category Sales Development he integrated Marketing and Sales strategies across 10 product categories, while as Country Manager for Nestlé Hellas Ice Cream S.A. achieved substantial growth through successful innovations and award-winning marketing campaigns. Vassilis also led the Nestlé’s Global Business Excellence Program in Greece, managing a multinational team that implemented SAP across all functions of the company, a role that came natural following his previous experience as Corporate Efficiency Program Manager, where he led 6-sigma initiatives resulting in significant cost reductions.
