Vassilis Tziokas is the Head of Ecosystem Success at Matter Labs where he plays a key role in advancing the ZK Sync ecosystem’s success within blockchain innovation. His role amplifies Matter Labs' mission to push the boundaries of blockchain scalability with ZK cryptography. 

Previously Vassilis worked at Microsoft and drove their strategy at the intersection of Generative AI and Web3. He helped secure high-profile partnerships with Ernst & Young, Ankr, and the Reserve Bank of Australia, and established Microsoft’s cloud computing platform, Azure, as a leading platform for digital assets and AI. Beyond this, Vassilis extensive education inclues a BSc in Mass Media and Communication from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, a MA in Creative and Media Enterprises Management from the University of Warwick, and an MBA in Management and Operations from Athens University of Economics and Business. 

Vassilis also has extensive experience in marketing roles, previously working as the Marketing & Category Planning Lead at Mondelēz International and Marketing Manager at Persado. He also worked as Head of Marketing at Upstream where he worked closely with Fortune 500 brands and international stakeholders in EMEA, LATAM, Africa, and Middle East.
