Vlassis Georgatos, Managing Director of Gregory’s, was born in 1969 in Athens, and graduated from the Athens University of Economics and Business. From a young age he was actively involved in “Gregory’s,” which was a family business at that time, and in 1992 after finishing his studies, he took on administrative duties. Having a strong understanding of mass catering and market trends, he chose to expand the company through franchising. This choice resulted in Gregory’s rapid growth and in the ongoing success of the company as Gregory’s has turned into a leading force in its category. Gregory’s is constantly evolving, fully responding to the modern consumer needs and today has the largest network of snacks and coffee in Greece and the 8th largest in Europe! Under Mr. Georgatos’ leadership, Gregory’s has expanded over 300 stores in Greece and four other countries, while continuing to further expand its brand abroad, and more specifically in Central Europe. The first stop outside Greece has been Germany, where Gregory’s opened its first store in Berlin in 2015, and has been an important milestone in this process.
