Dafni Bechtsi is the Founder and Managing Director of Cinobo, a subscription video-on-demand platform that brings hand-picked, world-class cinema directly to audiences across Greece. Cinobo, a member of Scale Up Cohort 8, has grown into a unique streaming service that curates hundreds of acclaimed films and iconic series from major film festivals worldwide, making high-quality cinematic experiences easily accessible on Smart TVs, computers, smartphones, tablets, and even offline.

Before establishing Cinobo, Dafni cultivated a strong foundation in scientific research. She began her career as a research trainee in Molecular Endocrinology, later gaining hands-on experience as an Undergraduate Researcher at The Francis Crick Institute and as a Technician at the University of Glasgow, where she also pursued a PhD. 

Beyond those accademics, Dafni holds an MSci from the University of Glasgow. She also advises aspiring entrepreneurs to start ventures driven by passion and conviction rather than for the sake of it.
