Spyros Mandekis is the Co-founder of Simpler, a company providing a secure, personalized, and efficient checkout process, enhancing the customer experience in both e-commerce and hybrid retail environments. Simpler, a Scale Up 6th Cohort member, created their “Shopping Passport,” so users can enjoy a quick, one-click checkout experience. 

Spyros’s academic background, with a BSc in Management Science and Technology from the Athens University of Economics and Business, laid the groundwork for his multidisciplinary approach to entrepreneurship. His journey as an entrepreneur began with Nestcargo, which he co-founded in 2013. Nestcargo served as a platform that connected shippers with reliable international carriers, optimizing logistics and transportation for businesses. He then expanded his technical expertise by taking on software engineering roles at various organizations, including Market Group and Plum Fintech, where he contributed to developing data-intensive distributed systems and handling complex backend infrastructures.
