Greece, March 3rd, 2022 – Stavros Papadopoulos, Founder & CEO of TileDB, joins Endeavor’s Global Network. After being part of Endeavor Greece’s ScaleUp program for one year, the momentum and results TileDB demonstrated led to the selection of Founder & CEO Stavros Papadopoulos to the network’s international program, as an Endeavor Entrepreneur. Undergoing a demanding selection process, during which he met with 6 internationally recognized executives around the world, he was invited to highlight his business model, innovative services, competitive advantages, and growth prospects of the company in the global market.

Following the completion of the International Selection Panel, Stavros Papadopoulos unanimously secured his membership in the network as an Endeavor Entrepreneur. In addition to the storage engine, TileDB has developed a global serverless platform called TileDB Cloud, which facilitates fast and secure analysis and collaboration. Both the storage machine and the platform are interoperable with a variety of tools and machine learning frameworks in the wider data science ecosystem.

In just 5 years since its establishment, TileDB has raised upwards of $20 Million in funding, with the support of well-known international funds, and works with world-class clients including, Swiss Re, NanoString, Helix, Chan Zuckerberg Initiative. It has a specialized team of more than 45 professionals and offices based in Greece and the USA.
