Tasso Roumeliotis has always known how to spot an opportunity—and then build something remarkable from it. Raised in Montreal by Greek immigrant parents, Tasso’s journey began with a business degree from McGill University, followed by a stellar start to his career as the top associate in his class at Bain & Company. After earning his MBA from Harvard Business School, Tasso continued his rise as VP of Claridge Investments, the Bronfman family’s private investment firm. But it was his entrepreneurial leap that truly set him apart.

In 2005, Tasso founded Location Labs, a location-based mobile security company that grew into a 200+ person powerhouse. Under his leadership, Location Labs achieved something rare in the startup world—seven consecutive years of profitability and a spot on the INC 500 list. The company’s success culminated in a $220 million acquisition by AVG, solidifying Tasso’s reputation as a visionary leader in the tech space. 

After the sale of Location Labs, Tasso wasn’t content to rest on his laurels. He gathered his top team members and Numa was born. With Numa, Tasso is once again pushing the boundaries of what’s possible, blending technology with practical business solutions. His ability to spot trends and mobilize top talent has made him a leader to watch, and his track record of success speaks for itself.
