Eliso Kotsieva

About

Before Endeavor, Eliso worked at Fundes, a non-profit organization that focuses on the development of MSMEs, entrepreneurs, and communities in Latin America through the creation of inclusive and sustainable value ecosystems. There, she helped develop Fundes’ Fundraising strategy, benchmarking against competitors and other foundations, and worked on projects focused both on the general creation of better conditions and regulatory environment for the SME entrepreneurs, but also specifically on supporting the development of rural farmers, sustainable fishermen and women entrepreneurs.

During her Masters she worked with fellow students on founding a women’s agricultural cooperative at a rural community in Guatemala and co-founded a hospitality startup as part of an Entrepreneurship course that went on to receive funding offers at the end-of-the-course investor pitch. During her Bachelor studies she was involved with student organizations like AIESEC and AEGEE, and volunteered as a Rescuer Samaritan at the Greek Red Cross.

Mission

Eliso is part of the Endeavor Entrepreneur Experience team, where she heads Portfolio team, working with entrepreneurs disrupting traditional sectors like Maritime, Energy, Mobility, Construction, Agriculture, among others. She also supports the expansion of the organization’s investor network across these sectors specifically.

The realization that the biggest obstacle I have ever faced on my path was actually my own mind was both scary and liberating. This quotes reminds me to consciously choose everyday to just “do”, in spite of self-doubt, fear of failure and other people’s opinions.
