Athens International Airport "Eleftherios Venizelos" is the largest airport in Greece and the country's primary international gateway. Serving more than 33 million passengers in 2025, it ranks among the busiest airports in Europe and functions both as the main hub for Aegean Airlines and as Greece's central point of connectivity between Europe, Asia, and Africa.

In operation since 2001, the airport handles a full range of aviation, commercial, and real estate activities across its two terminals, connecting Athens to over 100 destinations worldwide through more than 50 airlines. Its concession runs through 2046, underpinning a long-term horizon for infrastructure investment and growth.

Following its 2024 listing on the Athens Stock Exchange, the largest Greek IPO in two decades, the airport operates under a public-private partnership, with AviAlliance as majority shareholder alongside the Hellenic Corporation of Assets & Participations and public free float. As a critical piece of national infrastructure, it plays a central role in Greece's tourism economy and international connectivity.
