Growthfund is the National Investment Fund of Greece and a holding company established in 2016, with the Greek State as its sole shareholder, represented by the Minister of National Economy and Finance. As the asset manager of a major portfolio of State-Owned Enterprises and strategic participations, Growthfund plays a central role in strengthening national prosperity and supporting sustainable economic growth.

Its mission is to modernize State-Owned Enterprises, maximize the value of public assets, and ensure the delivery of enhanced services to citizens and consumers. The Group’s portfolio comprises 16 subsidiaries and participations operating across six key sectors of the Greek economy: energy; transport and infrastructure; technology and innovation; real estate management; postal services; and food supply. Collectively, Growthfund’s portfolio companies employ more than 25,000 people and have a direct impact on citizens’ everyday lives.

In addition, Growthfund oversees the Project Preparation Facility (PPF), responsible for the development and tendering of strategic projects exceeding €8 billion, contributing to the modernization of critical national infrastructure and investment readiness.
