BIO
Vassilios Katsos is a Greek entrepreneur and investor with a strong track record in the pharmaceutical industry and diversified investments across multiple sectors. Born in Athens in 1973, he studied at Pierce College and the Faculty of Pharmacy at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
He has been a key shareholder and leader of Pharmathen Pharmaceuticals, serving as President of the Board since 1993 and contributing to its evolution into a global pharmaceutical player. In 2015, BC Partners acquired a majority stake in Pharmathen, marking a significant milestone in the company’s international expansion, which today spans more than 85 countries.
He is also Chairman and co-founder of VNK Capital, through which he has built a growing portfolio across healthcare, food & beverage, real estate development, and logistics (3PL). As an active entrepreneur, he has received multiple distinctions, including “Entrepreneur of the Year” by EY Greece, the “Innovative Business” award from the Athens Chamber of Commerce, and recognition in ICAP’s “True Leaders” and “Best Workplace” awards.
