BIO

Cristina Piedrahita is an investor with over 30 years of experience across listed and private markets. She has invested through funds in Greece and directly in a diversified portfolio of private companies. Her track record spans multiple sectors, including technology, telecoms, utilities, retail, food & beverage, materials, and financials, across Emerging Markets, Europe, and the United States, and across a wide range of business models, from family-owned and nonprofit to public and private sector organizations.

From 2002 to 2016, she was part of the Emerging Markets team at Morgan Stanley Investment Management, where she served as Co-Portfolio Manager for the Latin American Fund and oversaw the Latin American allocation within the broader Emerging Markets fund, managing over $3 billion in assets. Earlier in her career, she worked as a Latin American equity analyst at Fidelity Investments, HSBC Asset Management, and Baring Asset Management.

She currently serves on several boards, including Make-A-Wish Greece, Action Finance Initiative, the MIT Sloan Alumni, and the Brown Alumni Association, and is Vice President of the Brown Club of Greece. She is also an independent member of the investment committee at Halcyon Equity Partners, the first female-led private equity growth fund in Greece.

She holds a BSc in Economics and Political Science from Brown University and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
