BIO
Lars Rasmussen, co-founder of Panathēnea, is an angel investor based in Athens with a Ph.D. in Computer Science from University of California, Berkeley. In 2004, he and his brother Jens sold their mapping startup to Google, where they went on to lead the team behind the creation of Google Maps.
He later served as Director of Engineering at Facebook in both Menlo Park and London, contributing to large-scale product development at global tech platforms. As an angel investor, he has backed companies such as Canva, Astranis, Neara, PhosPrint, and ResQ Biotech.
