Pavlos Kontomichalos is a global entrepreneur and business leader with over 30 years of experience across the United States, Canada, China/Hong Kong, and Greece. His career has been defined by building pioneering businesses with a clear focus on purpose and long-term, sustainable value.

He began his career at Bristol-Myers Squibb in New York, where he held senior roles in consumer marketing and business development, including Marketing Director for the USA and Canada. In 1994, he relocated to China to establish BMS’s Consumer/OTC business as General Manager, becoming the youngest GM globally within the company. He was later promoted to President of BMS China, leading over 1,000 employees and driving a major turnaround that positioned the company as #2 in the market, with revenues exceeding RMB 1 billion and strong profitability.

In 2001, he transitioned into entrepreneurship, co-founding Profex Inc., a skincare-focused company in China. As Chairman & CEO, he scaled the business into a category leader, employing over 600 people and achieving consistent annual growth above 30%. He continues to serve as Chairman of Profex, while also co-founding and chairing Genesis Labs and SanteCare.

In 2015, he founded Hellas Group, a platform of companies dedicated to sharing “the best of Greece” globally, spanning hospitality, travel, nutrition, and personal care. The portfolio includes flagship brands such as KORRES, Erosantorini, Hellas House in Shanghai, My Odyssey, Elaion olive oil, and premium Greek wine estates.

Throughout his career, he has received multiple international distinctions, including the Magnolia Award for his contributions to the development of Shanghai. Widely recognized as an innovative marketer and pioneering entrepreneur, he is a sought-after speaker and authority in China and beyond.
